Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Trandon Welch of Frisco, Texas

We recently had the chance to connect with Trandon Welch and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Trandon, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I start my day with a quiet reset, no noise, just a moment to check in with myself. I run through my thoughts, see if there’s anything weighing on me, and clear my head so I’m starting fresh. Then I check my calendar, map out my priorities, and get my schedule locked in. Once I’m set, I do a quick scroll through social media to spot trending topics, see what’s driving conversation, and review engagement on both ads and organic posts. By the time that’s done, I’m not just awake, I’m already plugged in and thinking strategically.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Trandon Welch, and I’m the founder of WELCHinc, a full-service creative production company built on authenticity. My approach is to bring out the best in a person or brand by enhancing what’s already there, rather than forcing something that doesn’t align.
What makes my work unique is that I don’t just produce content, I develop talent, grow brands, and design strategies that maximize performance and deliver measurable ROI. I’ve learned that choosing the right projects and clients allows me to maintain a reputation rooted in passion, integrity, efficiency, and quality.

Being an entrepreneur has been challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. I get to take care of my family doing what I love, and I believe our purpose is something you never retire from. When clients choose WELCHinc, they know they’ll get more than they signed up for, results that elevate their brand and leave a lasting impact.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I was about nine years old, sitting behind a drum set in my church for the very first time. The moment my sticks hit the skins, the room seemed to come alive; people standing, clapping, swaying in perfect time to a beat that had only existed in my mind seconds before.

I remember feeling a rush, not of nerves, but of pure connection. It was as if I’d tapped into something bigger than myself… a supernatural current of creativity.

Back then, that power flowed through music. Over the years, it’s grown into something much larger; shaping ideas, stories, brands, and visions that move people in new ways.

But at its core, it’s the same feeling I discovered as a kid behind those drums knowing I can create something from nothing, and that it can move the world around me.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Trust that feeling deep in your gut, it’s the compass that will guide you to everything you’re meant to be.

Don’t let the fear in other people’s eyes convince you to shrink; their limits aren’t yours.

You won’t always see a path in front of you, and that’s because you were born to make one.

Keep moving forward, even when it’s lonely. One day, you’ll look back and realize you were never lost, you were leading.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That there is only one way.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
When my father passed, a common thread ran through every tribute: he spoke his truth, unfiltered and unwavering, no matter the cost.

That’s the legacy I aspire to leave behind.

He taught me to let my “yes” mean yes and my “no” mean no.
I carry that lesson with me every day.

Some may struggle with it, but they can never claim I held back or softened the truth.

I’ve always stood firmly in my truth, just as he did.
