Ty, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Reading if I can find a good book I can get lost in it forever and once I look up hours have gone by
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Ty and I have been in the medical field for over 15 years. I started my business about 5 years ago. First with just lipstick and lipgloss. Over the years I’ve added clothes. Purses hair and other accessories. But within the last couple of months I have added Teeth Whitening which I’ll still have the boutique. But I think teeth whitening will be the main goal. I enjoy teeth whitening and feel as through my business will benefit from it.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
My boutique, I feel as though it’s not really going the way that I thought that it would go and so my Teeth Whitening it’s something that’s new and less competitive and so I feel like it would over exceed what I thought my boutique would
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I always feel like I wanna give up just because it’s since I started my business and hasn’t gone the way that I thought it would or how I envisioned in my mind and trying to implement it to make it more than what I thought it should be I’m kind of stuck at a standstill, but I’m always open to new avenues in seeing What I could be successful in.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
I feel as though I am real, just because the world that we live in now it’s hard for people to show who they wanna be in public and who they are in private and I try to be one person whether in public or in private
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
My work ethic just because when I’m working, I put my all into everything and they feel as though that’s all I care about is working I would prefer to be able to not work so hard. Enjoy my business without the stress of working so hard.
