Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashleigh Pogue and Lauren Gachkar.
Ashleigh and Lauren, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Lauren and I met two years ago at the hair salon. We quickly realized that we had many similar interests. We are full-time moms and wives and decided we wanted to venture out into something. For the last year, we have been working to create a beauty product that will be launching in the Fall. We both love fashion, beauty, and travel and have created an Instagram following that shows our lifestyle in these areas called Twoglamorousgirls.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
With anything that you are creating from the ground up, you are going to run into issues and have to figure out ways to overcome them. Seek counsel. People who have done it before. We have quite a few mentors that have guided us through this process and we have put God first. Every time we run into a bump in the road, God has opened doors and we continually see that this is our purpose and what we are supposed to be doing. Continue to persevere and going through the trials will help you stronger on the other side.

We specialize in beauty and fashion. We also love a healthy lifestyle. You will see in our product that we strive to be fabulous in all of these areas. As a brand, we are proud of the product that we have created and how far we have come as a company. We are still a small brand but our hopes are to be one of the best. We strive for success in every aspect of our lives and we are hoping that our high exception for life will transfer into our product.
Who have you been inspired by?
For both, Lauren and I are mothers. They are both hard workers and have been our whole lives. Women who put God and family first but are also able to balance a working lifestyle. They do it with poise! Our moms have paved the road to show us how to succeed in all of these areas.
