Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Ford.
Jasmine, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
At 21 years old, I had to risk all of my credibility. My name was associated with a lot of different organizations growing up and I became a person of influence and a role model for many individuals. I was afraid of losing the trustworthiness with my peers, family, and loved ones. Becoming an entrepreneur at a young age is challenging when your whole life you’ve been preached to go to school and make good grades, so you can get a well-paying job. I wanted to secure stability for my future, for myself and for my family and working a 9 to 5 would never allow me to reach that goal.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being an entrepreneur takes self- discipline, which was hard for me. It was either party with my friends or work hard for three to five years and live the life I would dream about. This was hard for people to understand because when you look at society, I wasn’t your normal 21 years old. I had a mission and a vision that was so clear. My mentor told me 7 years ago that my why needed to be so big that it doesn’t matter what obstacles came my way I stayed focus on the dream. One piece of advice I would give anyone reading this: if your why doesn’t make you cry, then it’s not big enough. You have to know exactly why you do the things you do.

I help people create memories with their loved ones by curating the most affordable public and private trips to fit their personal needs. Traveling has grown to be one of the top leading passions amongst the world today and I help make it available for everyone at the most affordable rate. I recently had my largest public trip, we had 152 people come together from all around the world.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
You have to know exactly why you do the things you do. Yes, you’re going to lose sleep, you’re going to lose friends, you’re going to shed tears, you’re going to feel like quitting but when you know exactly what and who you are doing it for none of the challenges matter.
