Today we’d like to introduce you to Paola Castro.
Paola, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started social media and content creating the beginning of this year, I started it just for fun and I ended up realizing how much I enjoyed sharing my life with people and being able to make someone’s day a little better by posting one video. Ever since I realized how much I loved it, I’ve been meeting with people that also create content. Social media takes so much more time and effort than anybody realizes. I’ve gone through a few stages where it’s exhausting and can be really doubtful but I keep pushing because I believe anything is possible when you really want it. Don’t give up and soon you’ll start seeing results.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Social media has its up and downs, one day you can be in such a good place, getting lots of views, business offers and nice comments. Another day it can be stressful, the views are going down, doubting yourself, your content not being the same, and having to deal with hateful comments. I always like to think that as long as you are giving it your all it will eventually get better. Since a social media influencer does have to deal with hateful comments, try not to take it to heart because there will always be people that are going to try and knock you down and if you let them get to you, you’re giving them what they want.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a social media influencer/content creator. I create content that people enjoy watching. I believe what sets me apart from others is that genuinely enjoy making it, being creative and making people laugh.
Who have you been inspired by?
My mom. My mom is a hard-working woman, she has always given my siblings and me everything we ever needed and more. She’s a big reason I want to keep getting better and achieve my goal so one day, I will be able to give her everything she deserves and more.
