Today we’d like to introduce you to Anibal Anazgo
Hi Anibal, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Anibal Gonzalo Anazgo was born in Oran, Salta, Argentina. At the age of 18 He began his career as a hairdresser. At age 20 he opened his first salon, which quickly become the city´s most distinguished salon. In Argentina it was known as Anibal Añazgo Contemporary Stylist.
He has showcased his talent for companies such as Silkey Professional and Matrix by L’Oréal Argentina. He is a master teacher in unisex haircuts, hair styles, color and makeup. He has extensive training in styling and visagism, social makeup, high impact makeup, artistic and FX makeup, customer psychology and salon marketing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
“Becoming a stylist at 18 years old in Argentina was not easy, but my passion for the art of beautifying and transforming lives was always greater than any challenge. Being so young, I had to work twice as hard to demonstrate my talent and gain the trust of my clients. It required me to be totally committed, endless hours dedicated to practice, to nightly studying of trends and techniques,
In a country where traditional titles are often valued more, betting on a dream in the world of beauty was an act of faith and constant work. With each cut, each color and each makeup, I sought not only to enhance external beauty, but also to empower people, making them feel unique and confident in themselves.
Today, I look back and thank every obstacle that taught me resilient, every criticism that made me improve, and every smile that confirmed that I was on the right path. My effort not only built a career, but also a way of life in which art and dedication are found in every detail.”
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
With years of experience in the art of styling, I specialize in balayage, haircuts, and makeup, offering each client a unique transformation that enhances their natural beauty. My career in the United States has established me as the most recognized Argentine male stylist, thanks to the impressive makeovers that I share on social media, leaving those who see them breathless.
I am deeply grateful to this country that welcomed me with open arms, where I was fortunate to find the love of my life and build my family. Although I am not the only one, I do consider myself different: in Dallas, I stand out for my level of customer service that has not been seen before, along with my impeccable professionalism, a charisma that turns each visit into an unforgettable experience. My passion is not only to beautify, but also to connect and provide confidence to those who pass through my chair.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
It makes me happy to live the life I have always dreamed of. Being able to welcome clients from all over the world into my salon, who trust me to transform their image, is a gift that I deeply value. It fills me with pride to see so much love reflected in my social networks and in Google reviews, words that motivate me and push me to continue growing.
It makes me happy to have a family that supports me every step of the way. My daughter Uma, my faithful companion from Argentina, a poodle of almost 15 years who is still strong and full of love. My husband Tyler, who takes care of me, supports me and is by my side in every decision and project. And, of course, my family, who has always believed in me and accompanies me from the heart.
