Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryah Davis.
Hi Bryah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I always knew I wanted to be a content creator, but for a long time, I struggled to figure out exactly where I fit in. There are so many different niches, and I didn’t want to force myself into something that didn’t feel authentic. That changed when I came across “think piece” content creators—people who weren’t afraid to speak their minds, challenge ideas, and spark real conversations. Their content inspired me deeply, and I realized that sharing my thoughts and opinions could be my niche, too.
Once I started creating think piece content, everything clicked. I found my voice, and more importantly, I found a community that resonated with it. Of course, there are pros and cons to being a think piece creator—you open yourself up to criticism, and not everyone will agree with you—but for the most part, I genuinely love what I do.
Since then, I’ve grown my account from just 3,000 followers to over 52,000 and counting. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful every day that I get to create content that sparks thought, conversation, and connection.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As rewarding as content creation has been for me, the journey hasn’t come without its challenges. When I first started, one of the biggest obstacles was simply putting myself out there. Sharing personal opinions online—especially in the think piece space—opens the door to criticism, misunderstandings, and sometimes even backlash. There were moments when I questioned whether my voice was worth hearing or if people would even care.
Another challenge was consistency. Creating thoughtful, engaging content regularly takes time, mental energy, and creativity. It’s easy to burn out or feel like you’re not doing enough, especially when comparing your progress to others. I had to learn how to pace myself, protect my peace, and create boundaries around social media so that it remained something I enjoyed instead of something that drained me.
There were also moments of slow growth—times when it felt like my content wasn’t being seen or appreciated. But I stayed true to my voice and reminded myself why I started in the first place. And eventually, the right audience found me.
All of these challenges helped shape me into the creator I am today. They pushed me to be more confident, more intentional, and more resilient. I now understand that growth isn’t just about numbers—it’s about staying authentic and making an impact in your own unique way.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Out of all the platforms out there, TikTok felt like the right space for me to grow as a content creator. It’s fast-paced, community-driven, and built for people who have something to say—and that’s exactly what I wanted to do. I wasn’t just interested in going viral or following trends. I wanted to create a space where people could hear my thoughts, relate to them, and maybe even challenge their own perspectives.
When I started posting think piece content, I wasn’t sure how it would be received. TikTok can be unpredictable, and putting your opinions out into the world can feel vulnerable. But I noticed that the more authentic I was, the more people connected with what I had to say. It wasn’t about being perfect—it was about being real.
That mindset helped me grow my account from just 4,000 followers to over 52,000 (and counting). But it didn’t happen overnight. I faced challenges with visibility, consistency, and sometimes even negativity in the comments. At times, it was hard to separate constructive feedback from unnecessary hate, but I’ve learned how to filter out the noise and focus on my purpose.
TikTok has become more than just an app for me—it’s a platform where I get to express myself, build a community, and inspire others to think deeper. It’s where I turned my passion into something real. And the best part? I’m just getting started.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
