Life & Work with Caressa Walker of Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caressa Walker

Hi Caressa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My influencing and blogging journey began in 2019, right before the peak of the pandemic. Being the only friend in my close friend group to experience motherhood at the time, I felt the desire to document my journey of what being a mother would mean for me. This was also during a time where my parents were divorcing after 27 years of marriage and I needed an outlet to express the new person I was becoming.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Creating the caressa.walker/imperfectwoman brand has been such a blessing to my life but by in no way has it been easy. There are days where I question if I want to continue to show your life authentically or if it is time to throw in the towel. But what keeps me going is the true community of women I’ve created connections with via social media and being able to be a positive voice in a world that can be so negative.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As an influencer I specialize in candid conversations about real topics that affect womanhood, motherhood, and family. My IG story family appreciate my Caressa’s Chats which allow for open dialogue about topics that have a variety of perspectives and encourage thought on things that may seem to be the status quo. I feel my page is a place for all women who are navigating their own imperfections in hopes of feeling like they aren’t alone, and want to create and embrace things no matter their season in life.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is when my family and I would go to the walking trail and ride our bikes together. This was a time I looked forward to because it made me feel like I didn’t have a problem in the world, even if there was.
