Hi Carly, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Owner of Our Fair Lady Boudoir Carly Hansen born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. I’m married, a mom to two boys—15 and 9—and deeply rooted in the city I call home.
My husband and I own Pink Cobra Tattoo in downtown Fort Worth, and right next door near Sundance Square is my studio, Electric Muse Studio—an elevated boudoir space designed to feel intimate, and unapologetically empowering.
My journey into boudoir photography actually began through makeup. I’ve been a professional makeup artist for over ten years, and it was through that work that I first crossed paths with boudoir. What started as curiosity quickly became a calling. For the past five years, I’ve been fully immersed in this craft, building an experience that goes far beyond photography.
My mission is simple but powerful: to give women a safe space to rediscover their sensuality, to find their sexy again, or to ignite an energy so contagious it sparks something they didn’t even realize they were capable of. I pour my heart and soul into every session and into every detail. I don’t stop, and I won’t stop, until each client feels seen, powerful, and transformed.
This work isn’t just about beautiful images—it’s about laughter, memories, confidence, and connection. Women walk in one way and leave completely changed. with Our Fair Lady Boudoir, it’s never just about the photos. It’s about a damn good experience.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Lots of Trial and Error like most ventures we take, but I’ve learned a lot along the way. Nothing comes easy and i love a challenge.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m the Owner of Our Fair Lady Boudoir, a business where i provide a elevated experience for women in front of and off camera. With Boudoir, I definitely like some edge and spice when it comes to my sessions bold colors crisp images, cinematic lighting perfect hair and makeup. I’m a do it all kind of girl, one stop shop i do the hair & makeup style my clients as well as pose & guide them the entire way! Hardest part is Booking once that’s done, you just show up!
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Honestly my Husband is and always has been my BIGGEST supporter and fan, he pushes me like no other and holds me accountable when i say i wanna do something. I admire his drive more than anything and want to kill it in this world with him by my side for the journey. CLIENTS the feeling i get helping and guiding women to a fire they didn’t know they had is reassurance I’m doing what I’m truly meant to do and I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
