Life & Work with Chelsea Collins

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Collins.

Hi Chelsea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started Dash of Healthy Eats in February 2020, right before the pandemic as an outlet to be creative. As the pandemic happened and I was living alone, going through a breakup so cooking and creating content quickly became a huge passion of mine. I never imagined to have the opportunities I have today and all the people I have met from this page.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I believe that struggle brings you to a bigger place in the end. There have been days where I don’t have my creative mind and have no motivation to produce content. Staying consistent has been a struggle but knowing where it can go has pushed me to get through the slumps

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As my full-time job, I work at AAA Texas where I have been there for 5 years. I specialize in Subrogation and have earn multiple awards for Top Recovery Dollar and the President’s Elite Award for excellence performance company-wide.

Dash of Healthy Eats is a side hustle that I do outside of work and on the weekends. Being able to balance each and still exceed is one of the things I’m most proud of.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
DFW metroplex has been my home since 1997. I have grown up here, seen where this city has grown to. The amount of opportunities this city brings is endless.

Besides the traffic, I could never see myself living anywhere else. This is home.
