Today we’d like to introduce you to Coast (Lamar White)
Hi Coast, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It all started with a boy who loved reliving memories of his family through music. From my parents slow dancing in the loving room, to my brother and I jumping around in our room to the most energetic music of our time. Then to me and my wife riding into the sunset, and our daughter singing her heart out in the backseat of the car. That spirit for the love of music has traveled with me through the journey of time. This lead me to find the world’s greatest people that I know to tell the stories of life through sound.
What started this adventure was my parents buying me my first Sony Stereo System to put in my room. It even had the Subwoofer lol. My parents already had one of their own in their room and the living room so that made me want one all to myself. I would listen to radio and my custom CD’s 98% of the time I was in my room, thus inspiring me to become a DJ. I didn’t know what the definition for a producer was at the time so I chose to be a DJ thinking it would lead me to become a producer. 97.9 The Beat, K104, 94.5, 106.1 were the radio stations I listened to frequently to study how to become a Dj; especially 97.9 Dj Quick Mix Rick.
Summer ‘07, My Parents bought me 2 turntables and a mic. I was finally able to put my ideas to work.
I soon realized that I was out growing the role of a DJ, and needed to pivot to a more creative roll. Through some friends in high school I learned about LimeWire and Fruity Loops. Downloaded the programs with no technical knowledge of becoming a producer, and started making beats.
After becoming a college dropout, I ran into one of my closest friends and great producer Dr. T also Known as Nebula T. We continued to make music together for over a decade, and decide to take things up to the next level. Becoming the Music Collective, The Sound Of Nebula.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has definitely not been smooth. The struggles mainly came from outside the group such as, other artists and managers being unreachable, uncoachable creatives, parties not being punctual, the inability to be proactive in certain situations.

What I do – My main title is Executive Producer and Co-Owner of The Sound of Nebula, I specialize in creating a creative language for artists, producers, and engineers, to understand how each track is developed and capturing the details of every emotion inside ideas, songs, and motion pictures.
What We Do – The Sound of Nebula is a group of hand picked Artists, Producers, Engineers, Songwriters, Musicians and other creative professionals to change the flow of time through sound, as so these creators listed below are currently on a journey within the nucleus of there own elements to create something unforgettable.

What Sets You Apart From Others – Honestly I don’t know, but if I had to guess it would be the love I have for God, my family, my team, and life.
What were you like growing up?
A natural born leader that loves to laugh and work hard. The closest person I relate to is Jamie Foxx. I think that sums it up lol.
I will say this as a kid and currently now, I am into Gaming, Anime, Drawing, Cooking, Gardening, DIY Projects. Playing Different Sports. Cars, and Photography.
