Hi Coreen, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My skincare journey began 15 years ago in California. As a teenager, I struggled with skin issues that made me feel insecure and hesitant to go anywhere without makeup. When I was 17, I received my first facial, and the esthetician was incredibly informative. She recommended that I switch to better skincare and makeup products—and after making those changes, I saw a dramatic improvement in my skin. That transformation sparked a deep passion in me to help others feel confident and comfortable in their own skin, just as I had learned to.
After graduating high school, I met my now-husband, and we welcomed our son when I was 19. As a young mom, I still felt called to pursue my passion for skincare. With the support of my amazing husband, I attended esthetics school at night and earned my esthetician license. I began working at a local spa while also helping with my husband’s business, but soon realized I wanted to carve my own path.
In 2020, I decided to fully follow my passion and founded CreedsSkincare. I started small—working out of my home with just a few products and tools—and relied on word of mouth from friends and family. Within a year, my business began to thrive, thanks in large part to my supportive California community who helped spread the word. Although there were moments of doubt, I continued to promote my services, participate in local events, and grow my online presence.
In 2023, my husband and I made the heartfelt decision to move our family to Texas. It was difficult leaving behind my clients, friends, and family, but looking back, it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. Rebuilding my business from the ground up in a new state wasn’t easy, but through perseverance, networking, and meeting wonderful women in the Prosper and Celina communities, I have built another strong and loyal client base.
Today, I am proud to be partnered with Circadia Skincare, a line I truly believe in and use during my treatments as well as recommend for at-home care. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Since moving to Texas, building a new clientele has been incredibly challenging. That first year was the toughest—I often went a full week without a single client. There were moments when I questioned everything and even considered returning to work in a spa. I tried it, but quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. Working for myself is truly where I belong. Once I became involved in more networking groups, I began to see a significant shift in my business and the growth I had been hoping for.

I am a licensed esthetician with over 10 years of experience in advanced skincare. At CreedsSkincare, located in the heart of Prosper, Texas, I specialize in treatments such as microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, microchanneling, and custom facials. My mission is to provide a clean, safe, and results-driven environment where every service is tailored to the individual needs of each client. I take a holistic approach to skincare, emphasizing the connection between overall health and skin vitality, and I am committed to educating my clients on how lifestyle and wellness impact their skin. At CreedsSkincare, self-care is more than a luxury—it is essential. I am dedicated to helping you achieve healthy, radiant skin while creating a relaxing experience that leaves you feeling confident, renewed, and cared for.
I’m proud of how consistently I’ve shown up to networking groups to connect with people in my community and continue growing my business.
What truly sets me apart is that I work from passion—not just for a paycheck. Of course, income is important and allows me to invest back into my business, but without genuine passion, there’s no real connection with clients. I love making my clients feel comfortable the moment they step into my treatment room. I take the time to understand their skin by asking thoughtful questions and recommending what I believe their skin needs most in that moment.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
to not give up on yourself!! Owning your own business is a blessing but it is not easy. It takes time, patience, motivation , consistency and passion. The only person that will truly be there for you and make your business grow , is you!! So giving up is not an option.
