Hi Dami, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always loved music. I grew up obsessing over artists like Kid Cudi, Childish Gambino, and Drake. The way that they create vivid narratives in their sound has always resonated with me on a spiritual and emotional level. Music was my everything. When I was feeling myself, I would play some of that Drake. When I was feeling down, I would play some Cudi.
Music is consistent in my life when it feels like everything else is changing.
It actually wasn’t until January 2025, right in the middle of my year of junior year high school, that I decided to try and make music of my own. I scrapped together $500 worth of birthday money to build a studio in my closet, and got to work, I was terrible at first. The first three months were the hardest. Things eventually started to click, and now we’re here.
Since then, I’ve been determined to put my all into the craft of music. Through the ups and downs, I’ve found purpose in creating. I want to be there for people through my art the way that my inspirations were there for me at my lowest points. I have so many ideas. I can’t wait to do my thing.
I’m 17 now, and I’m gonna graduate high school in just a few weeks. Over the past year, I’ve been blessed to have accumulated thousands of streams across Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud combined. This is only the beginning. I’m going to keep creating, learning, and sculpting a sonic world around myself and what I stand for. I hope you’ll be a part of it. We even have our own collective.. That’s top flow.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge is to get people to listen. Once people hear my music, they’re captivated. If I can get your attention, I’ll win you over.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I write, mix, and master all of my own music. That might not sound that crazy, but these dudes don’t even write their own music. It’s crazy. My brother Tomi and I produce most of my songs together. He’s almost 13 and-a-half, and I’d say he’s already better than 90% of these producers out there. Give him five years, and the sky’s the limit.
