Life & Work with De’Ana Gee

Today we’d like to introduce you to De’Ana Gee.

De’Ana Gee

Hi De’Ana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I have learned the “GAME” of credit through personal experience and ongoing education, and still learning. “We Must Always Be Teachable”, no matter how much experience and knowledge we have. Let me continue, after being disappointed by hiring someone, I thought would help my husband and I but eventually ended up costing us thousands of dollars and we were still in the same situation. Now, mind you, I have a degree in Medical Office Management and was working for a medical office, so my knowledge of credit was very little. So, I decided to take what little knowledge I had on credit and started working on my own credit. I started researching about how to repair your own credit but found I needed a better understanding of it. My sister Kristi came to me and told me about a young lady that she found on Facebook that was teaching a course on credit and thought that would be something that could help me. I ran straight to Facebook and found “Financial Common Cents”, which this course taught on credit and how to become a Credit Specialist. Now, let’s fast forward a bit. I signed up and paid for this course (yes, I know, didn’t I already pay someone to help, but they failed to)? Yes, I did, and I just stepped out on FAITH. I received materials to start studying (a big thick manual), a 3-hour class to prepare for the exam, mentorship and was also registered to take the exam to become a Credit Consultant. It was a little overwhelming at first, but I hung in there and finished the course. On Valentine’s Day in 2019, I remember this day very well because I kept putting off taking the exam until that day on 2/14/2019 I decided to go for it. I sat at my kitchen table with my computer, logged in, and took the test. As soon as I finished the exam, I hit submit, and BAM! I had passed, just as I got my score of 90% my husband walks in with balloons, flowers a card and a teddy bear for Valentine’s Day. I was so excited and couldn’t believe I did it! This was a very special day not only because it was V-Day but because this was something I had been trying my best to understand so I could help (my husband and I. After the success I saw I received from repairing our credit. I started helping my family and a few of my friends with their credit, and of course nope, I didn’t charge anything I was just so happy that I could help them. I had said a prayer when our situation was bad. I had asked God to please help me get us out this mess. You know how we sometimes say, “Lord, if you get me out of this, I will do this or do that”? Well, I said it, I asked God and made a vow that if He get me out this, I will use what I know to help, teach (educate) on Financial Literacy to anyone that needs my help (especially my community) with honesty and integrity. Fast forward, that’s when Next Level Financial Solutions, LLC was born. In 2020, we became bonded and registered in the State of Texas. Our mission is to provide legitimate and ethical help, resources, and education to those struggling with bad credit. I am a product of my product, and so is my family.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I will say it has been fairly smooth but challenging at times. My biggest struggle was getting my husband on board with this. Now, let me say this… he is very supportive and my biggest fan and cheerleader now! Every time I look up his advertising Next Level Financial Solutions.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are a credit improvement company dedicated to helping individuals who have struggled with managing their finances or have been denied loans and mortgages due to low credit scores, high debt loads, or other factors. I understand firsthand the stress and frustration that comes with trying to get loan approval but constantly being “DENIED.” We continue to help those struggling with their credit to become first-time or even second-time homeowners and those that just want to fix their financial situation.

In addition to our credit improvement services, we also hold free webinars and seminars from adults to kids/teenagers (starting at age 6-18). It’s important to me to educate the younger generation about credit as well so they don’t fall prey to credit cards, loan debts once they are in the world where credit is thrown at them and needed.

I’m most proud to be able educate, provide guidance, resources and implement strategies (whether it has been speaking at events or a one-on-one with clients) on the importance of credit, how to obtain and maintain it, and the positive impact I have seen on my client’s face when their loans are approved, and they have a better understanding of credit.

What sets me apart is the first-hand knowledge and experience of how bad credit can affect your financial freedom, knowing this shows our clients we’ve been there and there is a way out of it. I’m a product of our product! Also, we provide you with resources like pairing you with a lender/realtor if homeownership is the goal.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Being compassionate is crucial because it shows empathy towards our clients who may be facing financial difficulties. By being understanding to their financial situation and offering support, we build trust and loyalty with our clients, leading to long-term relationships.

Compassion also creates a positive reputation for our business as well, attracting more clients who value personalized care. Additionally, showing compassion helps us stand out more. Ultimately, showing compassion in our business helps to create a positive environment, fosters trusts, and results in better outcomes for both our clients and our company.

I’d like to share some helpful advice to anyone that is facing challenging credit. Credit is essential for various aspects of life, whether it’s getting cell phone service or buying your dream home. It’s important to remember that credit repair is not a quick fix and cannot be achieved overnight. It is a process that requires time and commitment, but it is achievable!
