Hi Derrion (Juice), thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am the host of Cognac Conversations. The podcast that highlights the success stories of organic people through authentic dialogue. The crafted this concept many years ago but only introduced it to the world in 2023. Our sub name is mixing yac with the hustle. Life’s journey is a marathon and we feel our guests will and determination to succeed can help someone else.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not. Doing something for yourself can be challenging. I have had days where I didn’t feel inspired to create or whatever I create wouldn’t catch the attention of the people. The best thing that I have done during this journey is place people around me that push me to keep going and challenge me to get better.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
By career I am an IT professional. I spend 60%-80% of my time traveling for work and meeting clients. I would say I’m knowin for living in the airport. My ability to identify process gaps and contingency plans are key assets of mine.
What does success mean to you?
I define success by how well you handle and respond to adversity. Being Battle tested makes us stronger.
