Devin also serves as Chief Development Officer for a local Non-Profit in Dallas, Texas Supremacy of Music and Arts Conservatory (www.txsmac.org). Additionally, Her family also owns and operates Blank Slate Therapy (blankslatetherapy.com) , a mental health practice with 4 locations in DFW.

Her mission is simple: to help clients focus on what they do best—serving people and making money—while conserving their most valuable asset, time.
Devin is a bloodline entrepreneur who always had a passion for serving people and growing businesses. Her father is an immigrant from The Bahamas and mother is of Norwegian descent. Hailing from her hometown Ames, Iowa – Devin’s journey began with a foundation of hard work and a passion for leadership. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Sciences from Iowa State University, where while still serving many leadership roles in campus organizations, she launched her entrepreneurial path by founding WillPower Training, a health and wellness business that generated six-figure revenue while she was still an undergraduate. Additionally, she founded a nutritional supplement company in college and was able to sell her products in multiple retail locations across the United States and The Bahamas.
Devin’s career has spanned diverse industries, including beauty, finance, real estate, clinical medicine, entertainment, and more. She has served in C-suite roles, including her previous role at Yummy Extensions (www.yummyextensions.com), where she was recognized as Employee of the Year and played a pivotal role of operations during her tenure there.
Her expertise extends to event production, where she has managed projects ranging from corporate conferences and summits to concerts and large-scale festivals. In addition, Devin has extensive experience producing and being a creative director for professional commercials, photoshoots, and video shoots for nationwide campaigns. She has collaborated with celebrities and industry leaders to deliver high-impact, large-scale productions that captivate audiences and drive results.
A dedicated collaborator, Devin approaches every project with empathy and purpose, developing deep connections with her clients to understand their unique needs and challenges. She is skilled in crafting inspirational branding, fostering sales strategies, and optimizing operational systems.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Throughout every season of my career, the road has been anything but smooth. Some of my biggest challenges have been feeling underestimated and undervalued, often having to prove my worth in high-stakes environments—whether negotiating major contracts, stepping into influential rooms, or working with high-net-worth individuals. I recognize that in many of these spaces, I stand out simply because of age or ethnicity. For an example, I am 29 years old, and most of my clients are much older than me. But rather than seeing that as a disadvantage, I’ve learned to embrace it. I walk into every room with confidence, knowing that I bring something valuable to the table—something that has the power to transform businesses and drive success.

Through DWJ & Co. (www.officialdwj.com), I serve as a fractional Chief Marketing Officer and Operations specialist. I also serve as the Chief Development Officer for the Texas Supremacy of Music and Arts Conservatory (www.txsmac.org), a nonprofit in Dallas dedicated to empowering young musicians and artists. Additionally, my family owns and operates Blank Slate Therapy (blankslatetherapy.com), a mental health practice with four locations in the DFW area.
I am most proud of the fact that every project I have been on, there has been proof of growth and that my footprint in any company or project is noticeable and consistent.
What sets me apart from others is that I enjoy taking the time to listen to my clients and take the time to craft strategies that are not “cookie-cutter” , but allow my clients to stand out and make an impact.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is the day I decided to build a lemonade stand. It was my first taste of entrepreneurship, and that summer ignited my passion for turning ideas into something successful. Looking back, it was more than just selling lemonade—it was the moment I discovered the thrill of bringing a vision to life and making something out of nothing… truly turning lemons into lemonade.
