Today we’d like to introduce you to Gaylynn McBrayer.
Hi Gaylynn, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started La Montage over 20 years ago spinning off my family’s art/gallery business in Tulsa. Our goal is to service the interior design trade professional with all aspects of art while supporting local and regional artist. La Montage is a full service art and custom framing showroom. We make the art selection process easy and love supporting the local DFW art scene. If we don’t have it in in stock in our vast 65oo square foot showroom….we will make it for you!!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting a small business from scratch is not for the weak at heart. We hand built our clients one at time based on ethical and sound business practices. We are honored to have most all of same clients over the years as we continue to grow while striving to keep the quaint, boutique business model we’ve worked hard to achieve. Owning a small business is never easy but is the most rewarding and gratifying accomplishment I have ever made. Everyone that knows me knows…the best part of La Montage is the friendships built along the way. I am grateful everyday for my staff, clients and everyone we have worked with over the years. We have no plans on slowing down anytime soon. The best is yet to come!!
