Life & Work with Ja’keidric Harris of Terrell tx, Denton tx

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ja’keidric Harris

Hi Ja’Keidric , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As young boy I was always fascinated with cameras and my passions grew as I got older. I had a class in highschool it was audio visual production. And my teacher was a photographer and learning from him about I didn’t know at all grew my passions even more. Then shortly after highschool I got my own camera and that’s when I started making money doing photography on the side. And know I’m hoping to turn photography into a full time thing.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There were definitely struggles early on not having enough equipment. And I didn’t have much experience at first and no real exposure it was kinda just putting myself out there and hoping for the best.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have a lot of experience in sports photography but I have recently dove into fashion, street, studio photography and they have been really good too work in. Especially studios I love to work studio photography. And I just feel that I have an eye to capture key moments like no other.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck has not played a role I believe in God and prayer and meditation have been key factors to my success. I call it opportunity and God provides it for me to step into.
