Hi Jeff, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
In 2009, I hired a barbershop quartet to deliver a singing telegram for my wife for Valentine’s Day and thought to myself, there must be something cooler than this… (there wasn’t). I started Rockstar Singing Telegrams soon after with the goal to rock people’s birthdays and events with epic performances by pro musicians.
Since then, we have expanded with over 50 locations throughout the US including Dallas, Texas.
In 2023 we performed 2,700 singing telegrams through the US and Dallas is one of our busiest locations.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Singing telegrams is a novelty gift and most people have no idea that this type of service exists. We have been growing steadily over the last 15 years and are always looking for ways to reach more people with a fun or romantic birthday or anniversary gift.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We delivery fun or romantic singing telegrams in Dallas/Fort Worth.
We have a great list of songs to choose from and also take requests. Our telegrams can be funny & embarrassing or romantic and classy.
Our most popular character is a rockstar musician but we also get a ton of country song requests. Our singing telegrams include a 2-3 song performance, a chocolate and balloon.
What’s next?
We plan on increasing our online presence through social media and introducing AI options for custom songs.
