Life & Work with Jessie Jewart of North Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessie Jewart.

Hi Jessie, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
My wife and I both have a huge passion for cars and racing, and together we started our business in 2014. We intended to buy cars to fix & flip, however, our business grew very quickly and turned into a large company doing frame-off restorations, custom fabrication & paint/body. Our specialty is LS engines in classics such as Chevelles, Camaros & C10 trucks. But we have a wild side, and our passion comes in when we get to customize and do crazy one-off builds. There’s almost nothing we can’t do, and love a challenge!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a very rough road for us. We started our business with no working capital, and both had bad credit. Every dollar we made went back into the business for equipment and supplies. Originally, we started in Colorado but moved to DFW in 2019. During Covid, we stayed open 100% and kept all 6 of our employees paid. We have expanded by 3x since moving to Texas and continue to grow rapidly.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Our cars are one of a kind – every build is unique and fits the owners’ expectations. We have a full fabrication area and are capable of customizing just about thing. Our specialty is crazy custom!

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
As our business grows, our customer base is leading towards more high-end restomod builds. Our goal is to get into a larger facility relatively shortly in order to work more efficiently. As of last year, we became influencers for Holley Performance and have been traveling all over the country with our builds; Jessie’s 79 Trans Am and the NASROD (32 Model A), and coming soon Stacie’s 82 Trans Am drag car The Transmaro which will be traveling with as well.
