Today we’d like to introduce you to Keanna Price.
Hi Keanna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Well, sis, I am the Creative & Founder of She Believed He Could!
She Believed He Could originate from a mindset shift. She believed she could, so she did. Nah, sis, I couldn’t and so I didn’t. So, to shift this perception, I started a podcast, and weekly I would upload weekly episodes revealing the truth and testament that God was revealing to me through declarations. I decreed and declared for women who are in marriage, motherhood, and ministry to believe again – by embracing the struggles to empower our faith. It has now grown into a movement of women “shifting our mindsets” from the focus of isolation to a relationship with God.
She Believed He Could, is a declaration of faith that shifts the focus from off of ourselves to see God for who He truly is. As I started doing the groundwork for this mission to go forth. God was showing me, women, in multitudes and I then realized I was believing in God for such a small impact.
I needed to believe in Him for more! God has been cultivating my heart in the process. A process that values self-identification, embracing struggles, applying God’s promises, willingness to chase courage, believing over proving, and overall empowering our faith. Because truly, I had some groundwork of my own to do and it is indeed a process that I am trusting!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When becoming you, you aren’t denying where you come from or how you used to be. You are simply agreeing to the change for the better. It is always a challenge to trust the process (I saw a post on Instagram that said to trust God and not the process) and I do know that statement holds truth. However, I am called to His daughters that are starting with the process. They are believing in God one promise at a time. They are adjusting their beliefs and their lens to see God in the light of who He is calling them to be.
So, my purpose is to create a community who are walking out this process by Faith.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Checkout the She Believed He Could Podcast!
A podcast dedicated and created to encourage women in marriage (union), motherhood (being a mom), and ministry (teaching) to flourish in their faith.
We are embracing the stumbles, examining the scriptures, while empowering our stories all for God’s glory. My name is Keanna and I am your host and Her Creative Faith mentor. Together we are minding our mindsets, working through the process, and believing in God for his promises.
She Believed He Could is a declaration l; founded in Hebrews 11:1. So grab your bibles as we read…”Now Faith is the confidence in what we hope for and the assurance about what we do not see.”
Listen sis, we will be a community of women with faith today, and if you are believing in God to move you beyond your old way of thinking.
SHE BELIEVED HE COULD.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I’ve tried “college”. It’s been over a decade.
In the Spring semester of 2010, I gave birth to my fraternal twins 2010. They were born a few weeks early and I struggled throughout that semester mentally, emotionally, and overall, academically. After having my babies, the reality of becoming a mother to now three children was hard to swallow.
However, I was determined to keep going and to push for school. Besides, I had a lot to prove.
So, I thought. As time went by, I failed and attempted two more semesters after that. Both times while struggling as a single parent financially and emotionally. I didn’t have the support or the faith to pursue school anymore. After all, I wanted the success of the school for all of the wrong reasons. That was clear. So being a mom became solely my purpose and I never considered going back to schools
Until now.
Today, I am not allowing my life experiences, struggles, and failures to hold me back from whom I am called to be in the Lord. I said, “Yes” to not only reaching for the stars academically but wholeheartedly growing much deeper roots spiritually and by faith.
I have been accepted and admitted to @Spurgeoncollege into the Associates in Divinity – Online!
