Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Brooks.
Hi Kevin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
My first start in gig was an extra in the 2007 Denzel Washington directed “The Great Debaters” at the time I was attending Wiley College. The school in which the film was about. I spent the summer filming and afterwards moved back to Dallas to figure how I could kick my journey off. I attended KD College where I received my Associate’s degree in Acting. Since then I’ve appeared in a lot of TV & Film projects. Currently, I’m in prep for releasing my first film under my production company.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Obstacles will always be there when you’re on the road to greatness. I’ve always been the underdog so that means I was willing and still am to work overtime which usually means sacrificing sleep.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an Actor/Producer/Writer. Originally I just wanted to Act. But the more I got invested and redefined my goals, I fell in love with just producing my own content. I’m recognized majority for comedic performances. Comedic Writing is what I specialize in. I’m also a producing partner at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater here in Dallas.
