Hi Kidd Kaze, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started with me & my childhood bestfriend we started pop lock-in dance group it was called Kidd Kaze. We outgrew the dance group thing but I continued the legacy of the name kidd Kaze from that day forward every since then I’ve been freestyle dancing as another group name called WOAHBOTZ & also another group called BEND UNIVERSITY for major artists like OhBoyPrince(stanky leg), kbreezy (Pop that) Jhonniedamnd (Murda bend) Youngdeji (woah) Vedo(the singer) , Kevin gates ,Huncho, etc. also I’ve created some of the biggest trend dances in the mix of it all such as, kizzybop , Bend , Woahbotz (woah) . I kept pushing all these groups to full potential & it also influenced me to become a hip hop artist myself using the name (Kidd Kaze) & I finally just started gettin the recognition & respect i deserve this year & it’s a blessing to be here today to say this how i got to where i am today🙏🏾
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It seemed so smooth but in the mist & background of it all there was definitely some trials & tribulations to gettin the groups to respect my great abilities to be a great leader and a outstanding OutKast of a dancer it was always some type of envy love hate relationship between I & the groups. They never really wanted to see me prosper furthan then their program but through it all I stayed down & fought through the distractions & feud. It was all worth it n the end.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a full time artist / social media influencer, so I mostly focus on putting out very high quality content of me promoting my music & dances so that I could continue to receive the backend from everything. What I am most proud of is I can be my authentic self & everything I do is authentic & for my loved ones & myself & im very determined that I can do anything I put my mind to. My demeanor & swagg is untouchable
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I’ definitely consider myself a risk taker. I put everyone to the side including family to make the dreams and goals possible. Also I risk not being able to bond w my daughter as much as I would like to just so we can be good in the long run. My perspective of takin risk is letting go of everything that isn’t helping you grow or get to the next level to take an opportunity that puts me in position to be the best I can be even if it means hurting feelings bc if I don’t who will.
