Hi Maria, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I decided to be a realtor in 2019, 2 years after I moved to live to the Us from Chile. The main reason I decided to be a realtor was based on my personal experience with my husband of buying and selling properties in all countries that we lived before moving to the Us and to Texas. And I wanted to share my experience with other families looking to relocate from other states or countries. I was a teacher for almost 12 years in my country : Ecuador and after that I worked in sales and customer services in Peru and Chile as an employee I decided to be my own boss and decided to get my real estate license. My teacher and sales background, and being relocated to different countries due to my husband job allowed me to meet new people and learn from each place. I got where I am thanks to my dedication and the full support of my husband.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This road has being a learning process , imagine starting as a realtor at the end of 2019 and then few months later the pandemic started , I was in the process of getting our permanent residence, so first year was a little hard but I dedicated this time to learn all about transactions and creating my database based on my sphere of influence. Struggles of this career could be that you have to be constantly working, and that some months the market slows down and transactions decreased. Learning to be my own boss , making financial decisions and learn from the mistakes.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a residential realtor . I specialize in helping first time buyers , sellers , investors and people relocating to Texas. I also I am certified as a new build specialist. I am known as a bilingual realtor in north Dallas . I love to serve my Hispanic community and to help them Achieve homeownership. I am proud of building my real estate career based on my knowledge, my ethics and loyalty to my clients. I think that what set me apart of others is my personality , people trust me, my energy, my empathy , my loyalty and also that I am a faithful woman. God is the center of my life and I feel very grateful for the support of my family and friends.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Dallas is a metropolitan city that offers so many things to do. We have great parks , restaurants, amazing schools, and people are very friendly. The thing of the city that I like least is that weather is sometimes unpredictable.
