Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Diaz.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
When I was 11, I moved to a town in Oklahoma with 24,000 predominantly caucasian people. Coming from Mexico to the US made it difficult to make friends due to the difference in culture and language barrier, so I became very introverted and only had a few friends.
In 11th grade I got into my first serious relationship and ended up letting go off the few friends I had made, the exact thing I, now, advise my TikTok audience not to do. He became the only person I spent time with and once he graduated high school college and his job took up a lot of his time, but opened up more free time for myself.
Makeup artistry is something I’ve been into from a young age, I started taking it more seriously and played around with colors and editorial looks. As my skills improved I shared them on social media and since I wasn’t very social in real life the internet became the outlet where I found like minded people who became real friends.
I had kept this page a secret from my family and people I knew for a while but my makeup looks started getting more exposure and eventually people at school found out about it and making fun of me for it. Being introverted and feeling like I already didn’t fit in, I had a moment where I almost deleted the account. Thankfully, clarity kicked in and I realized I had no reason to be ashamed of what I was creating, especially because it was bringing me joy and getting attention of big brands.
By the time I graduated high school, I’d been added to PR lists, gone viral and shortly after was signed to my current management team.
My life changed in ways I couldn’t imagine. I went from being a girl from a small town in Oklahoma working as a laboratory technician to traveling to cities like New York, London, and Paris with my managers and other talent. In 2018 I moved to London and had even more opportunities there when it came to makeup and fashion. From 2019-to 2020 I traveled all around the USA multiple times, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Spain, and Mexico.
In 2020 I took a hard hit. I was involved in a toxic relationship and lost passion for my artistry. Once I realized the relationship was toxic I left and I started focusing on educating myself in standards, femininity/feminine energy, relationships, hypergamy and putting myself first.
In 2021 I started sharing advice around what I’d learned and what had helped me on TikTok. My platform started blowing up with hundreds of thousands of women who related and were having revelations about the same situations I’d been in.
I made the decision to move to Dallas, and at the end of 2021 I started dating an amazing man that treats me like a Queen. Now, I’m currently offering coaching for self-love, hypergamy and femininity for women that want to level up in life and in relationships. I know in my soul that this is my calling and I’ve never felt so fulfilled in my life. I receive messages daily from women who’ve implemented my advice into their live and are genuinely happy, living in their femininity and unshakable standards. They’re taking control of their lives, careers and are attracting a partner that loves them the way they want to be loved.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I wouldn’t exactly say there were any struggles in my career specifically, but social media can be a bit inconsistent. Which is why I personally recommend to have other outlets and options, online and offline. For me, that’s reading, ice-skating and still sitting down to do my makeup for fun.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My content focuses on relationship, self-love, hypergamy, and femininity coaching with a side of beauty and fashion.
In 2021 I went viral for a my Hypnotizing White Dots makeup look and later that year, my hypergamy advice.
The thing I’m most proud of is being able to provide people real, actionable and impactful value.
For a long time, I provided people value through makeup and fashion inspiration which can essentially helped them feel better about how they looked physically, but now the advice I share now genuinely changes people’s lives from the inside out. Through content about standards, self-love and building your dream life, I’ve been able to empower people to exit bad situations, leave abusive relationships and stay away from people that dim their light.
