Life & Work with Moses Simbi of Toronto

Today we’d like to introduce you to Moses Simbi.

Hi Moses, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Nairobi Kenya and moved to Canada chasing a bigger vision for my life. Growing up as the youngest and only boy in a family of 8 sisters and losing both my parents recently has taught me resilience and purpose. My journey has not been perfect, I have faced financial pressure, uncertainity and moments of doubt, but those experiences have pushed me towards growth in every area of my life. That was what led me to create Moussa & Friends a podcast built on God, Growth and Game. having unfiltered conversations that challenge people to think deeper, grow stronger and live with intention. Everything I stand for comes down to one mindset; God , Growth & game.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasnt been a smooth road, I lost my father 2019 3 years after moving to Canada then losing my mother in 2024 a few days just after starting the podcast Moussa & Friends. I was almost giving up and thought of moving back to Africa. I was also facing financial challenges having a huge student loan trying to pay it off. I was questioning everything and having self doubt.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am Podcast host, content creator and a storyteller focused on meaningful conversations that challenge how people live and think. Through my platform Moussa & Friends. I bring together creatives, entrepreneurs and everyday people to share real unfiltered perspectives on growth identity and purpose. what sets me apart is my approach; I connect, I challenge and bring out conversations people do not expect to have. I am most proud ob staying consistent when it was not easy. The consistency turned an idea into platform with real influence.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My best friend who is my manager and producer and the founder/owner of Toronto Podcast-Gram Castle. He played a role by providing guidance into podcasting and producing my content. He was always there to support and provide anything I needed to build my platform Moussa & Friends.
