Life & Work with Noella Collins of Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noella Collins.

Hi Noella, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I actually fell into this world the way most good stories start — by saying “yes” to an opportunity I probably had no business saying yes to. I began my career in corporate events, planning experiences for companies all over the world. It taught me two things very quickly: 1) I can thrive in absolute chaos, and 2) I love creating moments that make people feel something, whether it’s at a gala in another country or on someone’s phone screen at 2 a.m.

Somewhere along the way, I started making content for restaurants and brands — just for fun at first. People would ask, “Who shot that?” and I’d be like, “Me… accidentally.” From there, it grew into food content, travel, lifestyle, and eventually working with brands I used to only daydream about. And it clicked: I could merge my event-planning eye for detail with my love for storytelling.

This past year especially has been wild. I’ve been traveling monthly for corporate events, building my UGC portfolio, and stepping even deeper into fashion and lifestyle partnerships — all while staying true to the voice that feels the most like me: witty, honest, relatable, and a little bit flirty depending on the day.

Now I’m focused on scaling — landing bigger campaigns and telling stories that connect with real people. I’m in this season where faith, creativity, and opportunity are all meeting at the same intersection… and I’m just trying not to run the red light.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not — not even a little bit. I’ve been laid off four times, and every single time I had to reinvent myself, my confidence, and my plan. It was exhausting, humbling, and honestly sometimes embarrassing. But those seasons forced me to pivot, upgrade my skills, and get really clear about who I am and what I bring to the table.

Every setback pushed me toward something better — from rebuilding my career to expanding my creativity through content and partnerships. It wasn’t pretty, but it made me stronger, more adaptable, and a lot more fearless. And now I’m walking into doors I never would’ve knocked on if everything had gone “smooth.”

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I wear a couple of hats, but they all tie back to creating experiences. By day, I’m a corporate event planner traveling internationally to produce large-scale events. I’m known for having an eye for detail, staying calm when the room is on fire, and making things look effortless even when they absolutely are not.

On the content side, I create food, travel, lifestyle, and fashion content — everything from UGC to brand partnerships. I specialize in making things feel relatable, fun, and a little flirty without being overproduced. Brands come to me because I bring personality, not perfection, and because I can take something simple and make it feel like a moment. My event background really shows up in my content — I understand storytelling, visual flow, and how to make people feel included.

And then there’s my baby: Dating Chronicles — my Sex and the City–inspired series where I talk through my real-life dating adventures with humor, honesty, and a little bit of “I know it’s not just me.” It’s become a space where I can merge storytelling with real-life lessons, and people connect with it because it’s candid, messy, and very much the reality of modern dating. It’s storytelling with stilettos on.

What I’m most proud of is the resilience behind the scenes. After being laid off four times, I rebuilt myself and my career again and again, and somehow each chapter got bigger. I’m also proud of the relationships I’ve built — with brands, with my audience, and with people who see themselves in my journey, whether it’s in my career wins or my dating stories.

What sets me apart is the combination of strategy and vibe. I can produce and plan at a high level, but I’ll also bring humor, authenticity, and that “okay, she’s fun” energy to everything I touch. I’m equally comfortable running a ballroom full of executives or breaking down a toxic situationship on camera. That range is my superpower.
