Today we’d like to introduce you to Oluwaseyi Oyediran.
Hi Oluwaseyi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Afriquę Luxé Printz is a sister business to the House of Anna Couture and Accessories. It’s an online/pop up retail and wholesale store, that sells majorly unisex clothing and accessories, to both young and old. Afriquę Luxé Printz has roots in Africa, Nigeria, precisely West Africa.
We launched our online store during the Covid surge in August 2020. We had been selling items, clothing and accessories to friends, families and acquaintances in small batches, as orders come from the trunk of our car; way before Covid. As an African decent that loves her culture and heritage; our major desire has been to bring Africa to wherever we go. Either in our dressing, accessories, jewelries, earrings, the hat or merely the fan I use to reduce the humid heat condition am feeling.
It will be 5years this year since we launched Afrique Luxe Printz and God has been there all the way. We can’t thank our customers and clients enough for all their support and patronage during and after Covid. it has kept us strong over the years.
Afriquè Luxé Printz, take pride in offering apparel fashion, accessories and African interior decor readily available for retail and wholesale at affordable prices. We offer a wide range of African products and pieces such as head wraps, earrings, bracelets, bangles, fabrics, glasses, turbans, unisex ready to wear apparel, T-shirt, sweatshirts, hoodies jewelry, more. Whether you require our products for yourself or if you want to get them for a loved one, we offer the best.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all; most of the struggles we faced have made us even stronger, and better. The major one was sourcing authentic items and products from Africa. Economic fluctuations affects our sourcing power, and the government international trade policies that changes without warning, has put huge strain on shipping costs.
We are working towards better options, to bring the best to our customers.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am Oluwaseyi, founder and creative director of Afrique Luxe Printz, where fashion becomes legacy. I design custom and ready-to-wear bridal gowns that honor authenticity, inclusivity, and elegance. Beyond couture, I teach and preserve ancient sewing techniques, empowering women and future makers. My work transforms risk into resilience, beauty into belonging, and every stitch into a story worth remembering. I lead with artistry, empathy, and resilience, building a brand that is as much about community and empowerment as it is about unique fashion. I am authentic, collaborative, and deeply invested in preserving tradition while shaping the future.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
To me risk is a set up, either to victory or to failure; the outcome depends on the risk takers mindset, grit, and conviction.
My view on risk is deeply intertwined with my values—authenticity, empowerment, and legacy. I don’t chase risk for thrill or disruption. I embrace it as a necessary companion to growth, artistry, and impact.
It has to be:
1. Calculated and Purposeful
Any risk has to be with intention. it must be weighed by the emotional, creative, and community stakes—not just the financial ones. If the outcome aligns with your vision and uplifts others, then take the leap.
2. Rooted in Courage, Not Recklessness
It cannot be reckless, but resilient yes. Your risks has to serve a higher purpose—whether that’s preserving couture traditions, empowering women, or building a brand that reflects your values.
3. Creative Risk is a Form of Leadership
Understanding that true innovation requires vulnerability. Taking creative risks by pushing for inclusive design, realistic representation, and emotionally resonant storytelling in a market that often favors trends over truth, that’s a risk.
