Today we’d like to introduce you to Patricia Fraga.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Patricia M. Fraga.
I am a mother to two boys, Sebastian and Nico Fraga.
I am happily married to the father of my children, Nicholas Fraga.
I graduated from Dallas College in May of 2019. Dallas College laid a solid foundation for success.
I am a Scott Murray Scholarship Recipient for two consecutive years for my involvement in community service. In January, I was asked to serve on their board of directors. I’ve been working alongside the founder, president, and executive director to implement strategies to influence a larger number of students in North Texas.
In May, I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in University Studies.
I am a brand ambassador for Artesanías Zahra Darwish, a local woman-owned business that supports Mexican artisans.
In June, I began my role as Project Manager for School Leadership in Dallas Independent School District.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s not been a smooth road; I’ve struggled along the way, but what’s remained consistent is my faith and my familial support.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I consider myself a creative person. I like art, photography, and curating experiences.
I am most proud of curating the experience, October’s Very Own Plant Market. I spearheaded the event in October 2021. The event consisted of 22 vendors. Over the span of a few hours, we had approximately 400 people attend.
I am exceptionally proud of my growth personally and professionally in the last year.
What sets me apart from others is my willingness to learn and my tenacity.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk-taking.
It’s important to take the leap of faith as that is usually the bridge from where you are to where you want to be.
