Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Blessed to say that it has been a smooth road. Having modeled since I was 15/16 years old, I understood the fashion industry well, which provided me greatly needed insight on the internal thinking for production, vendors & fashion designers. Struggles at the beginning were learning more production technical terms, pricing for production costs, bidding & proposals. Teaching myself with the help of those that I had worked with in the modeling industry, enabled me to reach out to those I trusted to guide me. Industry leaders who assisted me in this process from event coordinators, producers, AV and technical directors who specialized in formulating concepts. Learning more with each event, understanding cost constraints without sacrificing design elements. Creating RFP/Proposals.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am most proud of the trust that my clients have placed in me, our relationship is a respected one.
Having modeled for so many years, I know how to get the best from another model.
My crew is the best! Other than fashion shows, our other events such as Galas, Luncheons, Corporate Conferences…WE LISTEN to our clients. It is THEIR event and we are responsible for bringing their dreams come true.
With confidence, We are helping our non-profit clients raise greatly needed funds instead of spending their dollars unnecessarily. Details Matter, but we move with caution as to not sacrifice the quality that they deserve.

Clients & Vendors LOVE to work with us.
Models love to work with my team because we respect them and know that they ultimately represent RSC Show Productions. My crew is the best!
This story is not about me, it is “WE”!

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Many leading industry leaders taught me early on to always retreive three bids on everything. This teaches one to learn line item costs quickly, understand the production lingo and bid out properly. Never be afraid to ask a lot of questions, it shows strength not weakness. Everything is important, all the way down to the count of trash receptacles and power supplies. We are managing not only back stage but we are highly involved with ‘front of house’ logistics and design elements. Keep learning and do not be afraid of pivoting. Before COVID I started transitioning into being hired as a technical director and client liaison for other production companies. Becoming the voice for the client on productions to assist managing logistics as the ‘middle woman’ on events across the country.
