Today we’d like to introduce you to Shelby Bossaller.
Hi Shelby, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Three Spur Studio LLC came to life in a way we could have never anticipated. We’re a small, western-based marketing company founded by three members of Generation Z, Allie Mori, Avery Pool, and Shelby Bossaller. Who each grew up in and around the western industry. Our professional paths crossed while working together at a company we believed would be our long-term dream job. We were grateful for the opportunity, the creative synergy we found as a team, and the unique culture we thought we were a part of.
After producing our first PRCA rodeo together, we were faced with the difficult reality that the business we worked for was not as stable as we had believed. As young professionals deeply invested in our craft and our clients, we knew we had to make a decision that would protect our livelihoods, preserve the relationships we had built, and allow us to uphold the standards we value most.
Choosing to part ways wasn’t easy, it meant stepping into the unknown, but it also gave us the opportunity to build something of our own. Out of that challenge, Three Spur Studio was born. Our company is built on transparency, integrity, and a shared commitment to excellence. We’ve taken the lessons we learned and channeled them into creating an authentic, high-morality business where creativity thrives and client relationships come first.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
At Three Spur, we embrace the mindset of ‘prepare for the worst, but expect the best.’ In truth, the transition into running our own business has felt surprisingly natural, almost like we simply picked up where we left off, only now with more transparency and more freedom. We’ve built a strong system of checks and balances, holding each other accountable while always remembering we’re on the same team. We extend grace to one another, knowing this is a unique situation none of us have navigated before, and we’re learning together as we go. Each of us agrees we could have never managed this alone. There are so many moving parts and it truly takes a village. Fortunately, we have each other!
