Today we’re excited to be connecting with Shronda Pierson again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Shronda, always such a pleasure connecting with you and thank you for sharing your stories, insights and inspiring messages with our community. We’re looking forward to getting the download and what you have been up to since our last interview, but first can you briefly introduce yourself to folks who might have missed the prior conversation.
I’m excited to reconnect! My name is Shronda Pierson, and I am a top-producing real estate broker with a passion for helping families and individuals achieve their homeownership dreams. With years of experience, I’ve built a reputation for delivering exceptional service, strong market knowledge, and a client-first approach. I believe real estate is more than buying and selling properties—it’s about creating generational wealth, securing a solid foundation for families, and building communities.
What sets me apart is my personalized approach to each transaction. I prioritize building genuine relationships with my clients, understanding their unique needs, and guiding them step-by-step through the process. Whether it’s a first-time buyer, a seasoned investor, or someone transitioning to their forever home, my goal is to provide strategic advice, expert negotiation, and a smooth experience that exceeds expectations.
The journey to where I am today has been one of dedication, perseverance, and a deep commitment to continuous learning and growth. As a lifelong advocate for homeownership and financial empowerment, I take pride in helping clients navigate one of life’s most important decisions with confidence and peace of mind. My success is rooted in passion, integrity, and a drive to make a lasting impact in my community through real estate.
Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Since our last conversation, my journey has been marked by both incredible achievements and the deepest heartache of my life. Professionally, I reached a major milestone by obtaining my real estate broker’s license in 2022, which has elevated my business and positioned me to lead with greater impact. I was also honored to receive a Top 20 Award from NAREB (National Association of Real Estate Brokers), a recognition that celebrates the dedication and success I’ve poured into my career. These accomplishments are significant, but they have been experienced alongside a profound and ongoing personal journey of healing.
The loss of my oldest son has been a devastating and life-altering experience. Grieving him is not something I will ever finish or move past—it’s a process I walk through daily. There are moments of unimaginable pain, but also moments of reflection, gratitude, and a determination to honor his legacy. Working through grief while maintaining my business and serving clients has taught me a new level of resilience. I’ve had to allow myself grace, embrace vulnerability, and find strength in my faith. The work I do now is infused with even more purpose. Every home I help a family find, every milestone I celebrate, and every new opportunity reminds me of the importance of building lasting foundations—not just in real estate, but in life.
My healing is also inspired by my family. The arrival of my newest grandson brought light into some of my darkest days, reminding me that even in loss, life continues to bring new blessings. Looking ahead, I’m working on turning my son’s passion for shoes into a source of joy and giving for others through The Michael Pierson Jr. Sole Legacy Foundation.
Navigating grief has changed how I show up in the world—more present, more intentional, and more committed to making a difference. This journey is far from easy, but it’s one I’m walking with an open heart and a fierce resolve to live fully and honor my son’s memory in every way I can.
Alright, so let’s do something a bit more fast-paced and lighthearted. We call this our lightning round and we’ll ask you a few quick questions.

My approach in both life and business is driven by empathy, persistence, and a commitment to creating success stories, even in the face of adversity.
