Today we’d like to introduce you to Stevie Lewis.
Hi Stevie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Stevie Lewis, and I serve as the Venue Sales Director for Classic Oaks and The Belle Manor, part of Edible Ideas Inc. I bring over 17 years of experience in sales, hospitality, and food and beverage, supported by bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Art History from the University of Texas at Arlington.
I began my career in weddings and events in 2015 with a Fort Worth–based restaurant group, where I managed and opened new concepts across Texas and beyond, while also coordinating services for major festivals including Austin City Limits, SXSW, and Bonnaroo. In 2022, I joined Edible Ideas Inc. in 2022 as Venue Director of The Belle Manor, and in 2024, I expanded my role to also lead Classic Oaks.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No matter the profession, twists and turns are inevitable. What truly matters is how we embrace those challenges and work through the solutions, that is what strengthen our skills and shape our character. I’m often reminded of the quote, “Smooth seas never made a skilled sailor.” Difficulties aren’t just unavoidable; they’re essential for growth and resilience.
In the event industry, bringing a client’s vision to life can sometimes be complex, but that’s exactly what sets us apart. Our team of creative, dedicated professionals brings both expertise and passion to every celebration, ensuring each event is thoughtfully curated. By guiding clients through every step of the planning process, we make the experience seamless, memorable, and stress-free.

We proudly offer a full range of in-house services through Edible Ideas Inc., including premier event venues across the DFW area, Classic Oaks, The Belle Manor, The Castle at Rockwall, and the Carlisle Room. In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Our company is growing its presence in the Fort Worth area, constantly seeking fresh and innovative ways to bring our clients’ visions to life. By expanding our in-house services and companies, we are evolving into a true one-stop shop for all our clients’ event needs!
