Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrance Barksdale.
Hi Terrance, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
It all started in 2016 if an idea of creating a branding company. it was just a thought for a while until 2017 came around. I figured I’ve taken so many chances in life so far so why not. I started out with the idea of creating a brand that could be represented by any walks of life. “Get It” Brand is something we do without a thought every day “Get It”; We all have something we are trying to strive for whether it’s a big dream or small, the “Get It” mentality is instilled in all of us. That brings us to now, Time to take things to a higher level and a staple in the human mindset.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Everything you do will have its ups and downs, with that comes along the hate, envy, and disloyalty. The main thing is trying to stay creative while many other around you are waiting on your next move. Dare to be different and dare to be great. You only last as long as you provide the wave and then on to the next. Trust yourself and be very cautious of others, not everyone means well.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My whole life I been a creative person, for the longest I was known for making music and artwork. The passion has always been there creatively, the most thing that I’m proud about myself is for the simple fact how well I can adapt to change.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love about my city, there are so many different walks of life. So many people passionate about creative vision. What I like least about my city is that we should be in the four fronts when it comes to a lot of the creative people and things that comes from out of our city.
