Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany “Lola” Williams.
Hi Tiffany “Lola”, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m a South Carolina native and the baby girl of six children, raised by two incredibly supportive parents who always pushed us to strive for greatness. From a young age, I knew that hair was more than just a hobby for me—it was my calling. The moment I was able to start making my own decisions, I chose to follow my passion. Although at times, as we all do at a growing age, I wanted to try everything from the medical field, retail field, and even a warehouse. Each time I tried a new work field, my life always drew me back to “HAIR”.
I graduated from Miller-Motte Technical College with a degree in cosmetology and became a Master Cosmetologist. From there, I hit the ground running—competing in hair and fashion shows, showcasing my work with Kim Kimble in 2015, and later working alongside my amazing mentor, Terrence Davidson, on the Snoop Dogg Redemption Tour in 2017. Those experiences really opened my eyes to the levels I could reach in this industry.
But I knew I wanted to do more than just style hair. I wanted to impact lives. So I took the next step and earned my instructor’s license, allowing me to become an educator and launch my mentorship program, MENTOR ME & MORE. God gave me a vision to pour into others—not just creatively, but personally and professionally as well.
Growing up in a small town, I always felt that my gift was bigger than me. In 2021, I took a leap of faith and relocated to Dallas, Texas. Since then, my world has expanded in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I’m now a full-time entrepreneur, a traveling stylist, and the proud owner of Cosmo Hair Studios. I’ve had the opportunity to work at New York Fashion Week with the world-renowned designer Sergio Hudson and many other incredible creatives. I also was apart of a production for Netflix called Champions, working film sets and various exciting projects that continue to stretch and inspire me.
This journey has been full of growth, faith, and fearlessness—and I know this is just the beginning. There’s so much more ahead, and I’m walking boldly into all of it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not! You have your highs and definitely your lows. One of my biggest struggles was to get acclimated with my new city. Leaving my family and what I knew as home & coming to a big city a million miles away was so hard because I’m very close with my family. The most uncomfortable I had ever been in my life .
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Master Cosmetologist and Educator. I don’t limit myself to one specialty—I’m great at it all. If it’s hair, I can make magic happen.
What I’m most proud of is my work ethic and my journey—it’s truly a testimony. What sets me apart is my consistency, my drive, and my personality. I bring more than just skill—I bring an unforgettable experience.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
A couple of the lessons I have learned along this journey is to make as many great things as you can out of the lemons life throw at you ( look on the bright side of the situation) , Always keep your hand in God’s hand, & Trust His process because you only have one life so use it!
