Life & Work with Will Reynolds

Today we’d like to introduce you to Will Reynolds.

Will Reynolds

Hi Will, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up in the city of Sydney, Australia. When I was in my teens, I had friends from school that came from big farms and ranches in Australia, and I would visit them in the school holidays. When I finished high school, I decided to pack up everything I had and head to northern Australia to work on a 1.4-million-acre cattle station. While I was there, we would work for a few months straight; then when we’d have a weekend off, we would go to the local rodeo & camp draft. It was a bit of fun where all the local ringers would get together. I started riding saddle broncs for fun there, and was horrible. I wanted to get better, so I stuck to it. Fast forward 2 years, and I ended up coming over to the US to go to college on a college rodeo scholarship. I graduated with a business/finance degree in 2020 and went on the professional rodeo circuit after that.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not quite. I have had 4 shoulder reconstructions, 2 hip surgeries, problems with my knees, have had my wrist screwed back together, and a few other injuries. It forced me to learn how to take care of my body, which is something I really try to focus on now through weight training, endurance training, and, most importantly – nutrition.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association- traveled North America as a Professional Saddle Bronc Rider – Champion of the Fort Worth Pro Rodeo, Folsom Pro Rodeo, Toppenish Pro Rodeo, Mesquite Championship, Pioneer Days Rodeo, Cotton Blossom Roundup, among many others
