Today we’d like to introduce you to Zee Edwards.
Zee, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am a single mother of three. I have a career in the auto industry. I am a passionate actress pursuing an acting career.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There is nothing easy about a successful journey. As a mother making sure my children were taken care of has always been a priority, so when they were younger participating in acting was always a desire her it was delayed.
Advice for young women always invests in a better tomorrow for YOU. Don’t wait because time goes on.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I work in the automobile industry (can’t really disclose the company). I love the automobile industry & numbers. I am an actress in the web series BetterNow (YouTube web series). I am Mrs. Hope on the show.
What sets me apart is my willingness to keep going and to always try something outside of my norm.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
Learn as much as you can at the beginning… because in the end, what you learn in the beginning will make you more valuable.
