Hi Aaliyah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Aaliyah Kennedy from Dallas, TX. I am a woman of natural medicine, A mother of 3. I started my juicing journey to help my mom accomplish her health goals and lower her blood pressure the natural way. Her blood pressure was 169/97. After 3 months of studying & research, a diet change, increased activity, plus my 3 juices (Beauty of the Beets) per day my mom saw a drastic reduction in her blood pressure went down to 118/79. I went into business to help others fight disease within their bodies with fruits, veggies, and herbs. I want to spread knowledge about being more intentional with what we put in our body while feeding our mind & spirit. I named my business after my beloved cousin Kenady Walker aka Sunshine. I will continue to use all the gems she dropped upon me and let her beautiful spirit shine through my business with the positive and healing energy she left me with. Sips Of Sunshine will help you heal your body with plants!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but the blessings outweigh the hardships. The greatest challenge to overcome is to keep going! No matter what the ups and downs of business, the ugly side of being an entrepreneur, business slow days. I just keep going!

My goal is to educate the importance of what you put in your body and be more intentional with the diet because we really are what we eat. Juicing is a tool I use to create and promote a healthier lifestyle. I am most proud of the results and reviews I’ve gotten about my brand. I’ve helped assist healing to the body the natural way. To back away from Pharmaceuticals and heal the body with organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs instead!
