Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Gonzales
Hi Aaron, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My twin brother and I developed a passion for videography in high school, where we competed in national video production competitions. After graduation, we took our skills to Texas A&M University – Kingsville, where we worked in the Sports Information Department filming every sports team. Once we graduated, we launched our own media company, The Twins Videography. Today, we create video content for a wide range of clients, including non-profits, educational conferences, real estate, weddings, sporting events, special events, and commercials for businesses of all sizes.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Overall, the journey has been smooth, though we faced a few challenges in the beginning. One of the main obstacles was figuring out how to get our name out there. We eventually found that word of mouth worked best, although we still advertise on social media and use Google My Business. Starting in a new city and having to prove ourselves was tough initially, but once we gained momentum and let our work speak for itself, things began to fall into place.
