Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Lemons.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My granddad started building entry doors and sash windows for contractors and wood doors for automobiles after WWII.
In 1952, a contractor asked him if he ever built cabinets before and he said he would try and that was the beginning of Lemons Cabinets. My dad took over the business in 1986 and after 15 years of employment for my dad, I have been the current owner since 2006.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
When I took over the business, my dad became my employee and there was an adjustment period with our contracts treating me as the owner and not the owner’s son.

We specialize in custom cabinets for kitchens and are known for our product quality. We are most proud of being a third generation, family-owned business. This along with price and quality is what sets us apart from other cabinet companies.
