Today we’d like to introduce you to Adaline Bebo.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Adaline. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
After starting dance at the age of three, picking up a background in competitive cheerleading, hip-hop dance, and rhythmic gymnastics along the way. I finally wound up with a baton in my hand at the age of nine. The source of my curiosity and desire for twirling is still a mystery, but I found my own answer while spending countless hours in the gym practicing my craft. Twirling has helped me gain an understanding of work ethic, resilience, organization and has allowed me to travel the world and meet incredible people all while doing what I love. I also love coaching locally and being a role model promoting good sportsmanship, dedication and perseverance! Collegiate twirling was a dream of mine from the start. So representing Baylor University as a Golden Girl Feature Twirler was one of my greatest honors.
As a 2019 graduate of Baylor University where I majored in Honors Neuroscience, I also served as captain of the Golden Girl Feature Twirlers for four years, reigned as College Miss Majorette of America, Collegiate Downfield National Champion, and twirled in four bowl games including the 2020 Sugar Bowl. It was an honor to represent my country and my sport as a world team member for WFNBTA and WBTF on Team USA, winning two gold medals and the titles of Senior Strut and Artistic Twirl world champion. Additionally, I have also earned 8 other silver and bronze medals in individual and team events, multiple national and grand national titles for USTA and NBTA including Strut, Dance Twirl, Rhythmic Twirl, Solo, 2-Baton, 3-Baton, and Junior and Senior Dance Twirl Team/Twirl Team, as well as a 4-time title holder in the Miss America and Miss USA Organizations. As Miss Park Cities 2018 and Miss Dallas 2019, I placed in the top 5 twice including first runner-up at Miss Texas. Pageants offered me the wonderful opportunity to dedicate hours of community service to raising funds and spreading awareness for my platform: “No Limitations,” by promoting the importance of adaptive sports and playground design for all levels of ability.
Has it been a smooth road?
Anything but smooth, but almost everything worth fighting for exudes a trail of blood, grit, and perseverance that follows you but it also keeps you humble. Some of the struggles were the constant fight to maintain a balance in my life in all of the most important areas that matter whether physical injury/health, stress mastery, sport financial and time investment, emotional and intellectual growth, and finding life purpose for myself while giving so much time to my community and others. At some point, you have to stop and look inside to see if all of your core values are still intact and thriving! This quarantine has been perfect for that and I feel like some of my greatest creativity is finally emerging without all of the outside pressures of day to day normal life.
This is important because I think creativity is key in life!!! I grew up in my mom’s small business helping customers, serving cupcakes, and often dancing and even sleeping in the displays while she worked late hours to reset the store after we closed. She often talked about her retail secret weapon in running a successful small retail business and I have been able to apply this invaluable advice to literally every area in my life. Never get so emotionally attached to a product that you can’t see it’s not right for your market because then it becomes personal when it doesn’t bring you what you desire. What is a stale product for you right now in any area your life? Whether you choose to look at it more objectively, reinvent its purpose, or discount it to move it out to cleanse toxicity, make room for new and better creative product in your life or business and seize your opportunity for growth!!! It’s your day to Be Bold.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
My degree is in interdisciplinary honors neuroscience from Baylor University and I am also a world champion baton twirler, motivational speaker, successful pageant girl, acro dancer, model, performer, talent judge, and social media influencer earning thousands of dollars toward my education. All of this while donating thousands of hours to community service, fundraising, and helping others. My hard work ethic has earned my following and while that has meant slower consistent growth, it means I understand my audience and am so grateful for their continued support. I am proud to offer a personal service with a monthly membership that caters to a group that shares many of my core values and passions for learning, sport, community service and personal growth. What sets me apart is my ten year self-investment strategy of understanding how the brain can be programmed to supplement learning ability, international travel exposure, training and competing successfully with the world’s top elite coaches and athletes, performance maintenance under world renowned doctors, physical therapists, fitness trainers, sports psychologists, and mental management training in interview and performance. This lifetime of experience, many thousands of dollars for the best of everything, and hours of trial and error later is what remains – the imperfectly perfect version of how I survived and thrived in some of the most intense performance scenarios to come out on top in the healthiest way possible. I am proud to inspire others as a leader crossing over several industries in a way that is affordable to almost anyone for a small monthly membership fee, by offering free YouTube training tutorials, advice on my website, motivational speaking, and one-on-one contact through private lessons or in my community. Seeing the photos pouring in from all over the world of those I inspire is truly my greatest reward and a source of many feelings of proud accomplishment for me.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I love being rooted in Dallas.
