Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Littke.
Adam, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My career began in Los Angeles working on large commercial shoots. For 3 years I worked as a production assistant getting coffee, picking up trash and assisting on shoots. In 2007 I directed a music video that got the attention of record labels and musicians.
As my directing reel slowly grew I was fortunate enough to direct a music video that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. This gained the attention of commercial production companies and I eventually signed with a company in London directing commercials for large companies and clients such as American Airlines, Sony, Frito-Lay, and Samsung.
In 2014, my wife Jennifer and I relocated to Dallas and opened a retail shop, S E T & C O. We focus on high end, well-made home and kitchen products. We have now been in business for 2.5 years and looking forward to celebrating year 3.
Has it been a smooth road?
Running a small business is very difficult. There are many hats to be worn. Creative, accountant, janitor, graphic designer, event planner, etc. These all keep you busy 24 hours a day.

For directing I’m known for directing left of center, heartfelt and humorous commercials. In our shop, we are known for unusual domestic items that are collected from all over the world.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
It feels like a small town and is incredibly livable. Lack of ethnic food options.
