Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Wiley.
Adam, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We started here about four and a half years ago and we strived to be that neighborhood community spot in downtown Denton Square. We have had a lot of transformation over the years but we have made a home here and feel proud to be a part of the Denton community. We offer the finest quality craft cocktails and great food. We are labeled gourmet American cuisine and to us, that means sticking with the classic food options and adding our creative spin to it all.
Has it been a smooth road?
Like any restaurant, there have been some obvious hurdles over the years, such as dealing with head chefs leaving or management shifts at times but for the last couple of years, we have found our feet.
Tell us more about the business.
We’re a restaurant and bar that’s dedicated to serving delicious American fare and drinks to our Denton neighbors—cooking with fresh ingredients our menu items offer something tasty for everyone in the family. A few of our most popular dishes are our Shrimp and Grits, Short Rib Grilled Cheese, Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese, Eggplant Fries, Crushed Avocado Toast. Apart from being proud of all the food we serve, especially the ones I just listed above, we are very proud of our bar. We have such an amazing bar staff and we, daily make craft cocktails that we believe rival with the best. The thing that sets us apart from the rest is that we offer fine dining quality food and high end craft cocktails at a reasonable price and in a more casual atmosphere.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We are obviously in a very rough moment currently with the pandemic at the moment but I truly believe the industry will bounce back and flourish again. As far as trends go, there has been a pretty big upswing in the cocktail scene over the years as well as excitement over specials which is going to be a big focus of ours over the next few years.
