Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Munoz.
Adrian, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always had a passion for building things. I like working with my hands. I have always made things here and there. One day I was watching videos on truck camping. I saw that people make their own sleeping platforms, so I decided to take on the task. Finishing the truck project made me feel a sense of accomplishment and I wanted more. I started making wooden flags of something I love…Texas.
My first official wood projects were a Texas flag and an American flag. Everyone loved the homemade wooden flags. I enjoyed working on more wood projects and it became my passion. Making a little extra income on the side seemed like a good idea since I am currently the only one working at home (My wife is a full-time law student). I decided I could turn my passion into a business.
Woodworking puts me in a positive place, and I enjoy what I do. I like a challenge and learning new things. After making a few wood projects, I wanted to expand so I started making different projects and personalized orders. I am excited for the future of Dallas Homemade Woodworks. I can’t wait to learn more and improve my craft. Take pride in your work and keep building. And remember y’all, 90% grind, 10% sleep.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, it has been a smooth road. The only thing that is difficult is that I do not know anyone else who does woodworking. So far everything I have done, I have had to learn to do on my own.
Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about your work?
I specialize in wood crafts. Dallas Homemade Woodworks is known for making homemade wooden flags, wooden home décor, and personalized wood projects. What sets me apart from others is that my prices are low and affordable and that each order comes out just like the customer wanted down to the last detail. I am proud that this company is something I can call my own because it is something I started on my own.

Being patient and taking my time.
