Meet Adrian Reed of Traveling/ Dallas-Los Angeles-Chicago

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Reed.

Hi Adrian, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It is kind of a long process. First I wanted to be a photographer at young age. Looking for different angles, trying new things, adding different effects and making pictures lighter/darker. Growing up, no one really believed in me, I was always the odd man out, I didn’t really get along with my family. The ‘friends’ I had didn’t care. I was alone for a very long time. So I worked on myself, learn to be comfortable with me and make sure I was doing something I love. I was living in Dallas for a while but after I lost my apartment, I wanted to travel and see where else I would end up at. I went to LA for the first time, saw the beach and went a different path. Then I am in Chicago. Finding more about myself and making friends along the way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it hasn’t. But I have been making headway for myself. I been taking care of me while traveling. Currently, I am homeless, looking for freelance work. But doing has given me a different perspective of how I been looking at life. It has been challenging but I know I won’t give up, because I deserve whatever I want.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a multi photographer. I take a bunch of different styles of photography(other than people). Landscape, top view, changing the hue so the colors kinda inverse. I am proud for listening to myself and not letting haters get in my way. What sets me apart is that I sometimes want to give up but can’t cause I deserve better. I never give up for what I want.

How do you define success?
Feeling free in your own life. Not money, power, just you enjoying everyday until the end.
