Meet Aimee Enlow of Aimee Enlow Realtor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aimee Enlow.

Hi Aimee, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Sure! I started my career in this industry when I was just 21, working for a custom builder in new home construction. I remember often being told that I shouldn’t be behind a desk but instead out in the field in sales. Sales terrified me though! Relying on myself was not something that I felt like I was ready for, so I remained behind those desks for 8 years, learning the ins and outs of homebuilding. I am so appreciative to those people who planted that seed in me all of those years ago and really saw my strengths. The funny thing is, when I broke out of the corporate world 12 years ago and learned to rely on myself, I found my biggest joys and successes. To me, success is defined as abundance in the areas that I value. Family, freedom, finances, and friendships.

I became a homeowner at 22 years old and that inspires me to help educate others on the possibilities and benefits of homeownership. One of my greatest joys is working with someone that doesn’t believe that they could buy a home and experiencing their joy when they learn that they can.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve definitely had my share of challenges through Solopreneurship. There’s no one to be accountable to but myself, and that is both a blessing and a reality check at times. I’ve found that it all has to be so intentional to really flow.

I’ve also definitely struggled with imposter syndrome at different times in my career. Often times people saw my greatest potential before I did. My biggest career fright has been public speaking, which seems to always surprised people when I share it. I put myself through Toastmasters, anticipating that I would do some public speaking later in life. Since then, I’ve spoken to groups that range in size from 25-2500 and it never gets easier, but I’m not here for that. I’m here for the growth and the people.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Aimee Enlow Realtor?
My business tagline is “My job is real estate, and my business is building relationships,” and I really feel that in my core. I love connecting with people and getting to know who they truly are. This helps me keep their vision and goals in focus in doing my work. I help people buy, sell and invest in real estate and I love all aspects of it.

I have a dynamic sales and coaching background that I bring with me at all times. Understanding how people communicate and how they wish to be communicated with is one of my biggest keys to success. I became a certified mediator in the state of Texas and had no idea just how much that would help me in negotiating wins for my clients.

Providing the highest level of customer service and surrounding myself with a team of people that provide the same for my clients is my utmost priority. Communication, responsiveness, and managing expectations really matter. I love my clients and find so much reward in helping!

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc.?
My audible account tells me that I listened to over 40 hours of books last month and I’m also known to have one going on the kindle and one in paperback going at the same time. So, I’d call myself an avid reader. I would say earlier in my career I really invested in and focused on personal development books like Miracle Morning, Think and Grow Rich, Atomic Habits, and The Power of Now. These days I love to read fiction in many different genres. It feels like “me-time” when I can decompress and get lost in a beautiful story.
