Today we’d like to introduce you to Ajeet Mann.
Ajeet, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My wife and I started her blog in 2015 as a form of stress relief for her in law school. As the years went by, we began to invest more and more as my skills grew from photography to videography to as many backend hats as I could wear. Eventually, we moved to Los Angeles for two years to grow her blog even more. I quit my job as a cloud data engineer to go full time with her about six months in when we found that we had to make a hard choice as to what we should invest in more, the blog or my career. Last year, we then decided to jump to New York City and our careers continued to blossom into what it is today with Instagram, YouTube, and beyond.
Has it been a smooth road?
Content creation is definitely not the easiest road to choose. It calls for long days and having to serve many roles from to start to finish. Creation also requires you to have a thick skin because everything you create feels like an extension of yourself in a way. As a result, all the inevitable criticism that comes from others and yourself feels like a personal attack but you have to remember it’s all in the spirit of self-improvement.

We share our crazy everyday life on Instagram, YouTube, and as a podcast! We’re so proud of the community we have built and how close we are with our followers. Our own signature style of content is something we strive to grow and evolve every day as our lives change.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love that both of our families are here in Dallas and how amazing the food is! I will say though, I wish we had more different natural features like water or mountains nearby.
