Meet Alali Olaegbe of Dallas, TX

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alali Olaegbe.

Hi Alali, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Ever since I was a child, I have always loved all things beauty, I always wanted to make the world a better place, one beautiful human at time. I got into fragrances around 12 after my auntie gave me a hug and she smelled so good, When I was 13, I bought my first fragrance Tommy Girl, and my passion for fragrances started, and I started collecting fragrances. When I moved to America at 15, I started collecting and at 18, I knew I wanted to be in the beauty space. After graduating university, I moved to Dallas Texas and slowly started doing makeup for a few clients. I started a beauty group and was teaching women how to apply makeup and feel confident, but I also knew I had to bring back fragrances into my plan, so in 2022, I launched my fragrance YouTube channel, and Instagram page. I started my channel as a passion and although I always dream big, I never thought I’ll get to where am I am today. In November 2024, I hosted my first major fragrance event with Amir Oud in Richardson. It was such a full circle moment for me. Sometimes creating can be challenging because I am a wife, and a mom, but one thing I told myself was: the goal is not to be perfect, but to stay consistent. God , Hard work, and Consistency has brought me this far, and now, I am collaborating with brands, going on brands trips and growing my fragrance beauty community. I can’t to see where my fragrance journey takes me, but I know I can do all things through christ who strengthens me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road, nothing good comes easy. I am a wife, and a mom to a 6 year old in elementary school, so sometimes creating can be a challenge, but I have learned to plan my days and weeks ahead, take breaks as needed and prioritize accordingly because family comes first. I am thankful for the community that I have built, they understand my challenges and they are very supportive of me, which motivates me to keep going.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a fragrance and beauty creator with a deep passion to empower women to feel beautiful and smell good. I am proud to be a mom of an adorable 6 year old. Going to beauty world in Dubai with Riffs perfume / Nasuk perfume, was also a proud moment. What sets me apart from others is my delivery, passion, and honesty, which shines through the screen, you can tell I am passionate and enjoy talking about beauty.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Going to my hometown every christmas season in Nigeria. My names means Christmas, so I enjoy holiday festive activities and as a child, we used to go home to Okrika, Rivers state to celebrate Christmas and New Year, and I loved it.
