Meet Alexandra Fincher of Alexandra & Associates – United Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Fincher.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I want to tell my story of how I became the President of the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary Post 256. I have been an entrepreneur all my life, I got my Real Estate License in 1979 and dedicated my life to work and always support and help our Veterans. I grew up during the Viet Nam War and on weekends and after school, my grandmother and I would be making cookies or buying items to send to our Soldiers, I also had many penpals that my grandmother and I would write every month and send a gift to their families. This was important to me I had been raised in a home where my grandfather, mother, father-in-law, son and nieces, and nephew. Through my business career, my time at American Airlines where our Military has always been a part of the company, I cannot resist the passion in my heart for each man and woman that serve to assist and do what I can to bring to light their service to the community and our country. I never served because I did not pass my physical, but I serve the best way I know-how. I know I have the opportunity to give more time and I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to serve in a wonderful organization of the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary Post 256. The organization’s mission is to promote awareness of our hospitalized Veterans. We work hand in hand with the Jewish War Veterans Post #256 to schedule dinners for our homeless Veterans, contribute to the requests the VA needs ie: contributions for the Spinal Cord Injury Multipurpose Room, mange the Clothes Closet at the VA, work closely with Fisher House, provide a monthly Bingo for our hospitalized Veterans and much more. The funds we raise go 100% for our Veterans. The commitment from our members is whole heartily and love and needs that we can provide to the Dallas Veterans Hospital and the Bonham Veterans Hospital

Has it been a smooth road?
I’m sure it appears that way now since I’m very successful in my real estate and my marketing company. However, the road to get to this point is littered with obstacles and barriers, but if you are passionate about what you do, you will succeed. Success is wonderful but it comes at a price of hard work, family issues, striving to do it all on your own and staying faithful to your values and beliefs. My career has been real estate, marketing, and American Air Lines and my hard work has paid off. I am so honored to have an amazing clientele and friends from whom I have earned respect and trust. But, for the fulfillment, I turn to my volunteer work with the Dallas Ladies Auxiliary of Jewish War Veterans Post # 256 where I’m honored to be president through 2021. I am also a Rotarian and an advocate for autism.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
As a Realtor, I am very proud that I have a fabulous relationship with all my clients and with my brokers. I’ve specialized in residential but as my career has progressed I’ve devoted more time and effort into commercial real estate and special financing. International Investors, full turn-key investments and development are some of my special interests.

In my marketing company, I’m best known for running political campaigns and have been very successful at getting my candidates elected. I have run campaigns for City Council, Mayor, Judges, State Representatives, and Congress. I also do fundraising and Commercial Marketing for many types of Companies. I am so proud to have gained such a good reputation in my Real Estate business and in the political arena. What sets me apart from others is my honesty and trustworthiness and more importantly, my respect for my clients/friends.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, Dallas is a great place to start and grow your business. It’s very diverse. I have been in Real Estate in the Dallas area since 1983 and my Marketing Business since 1985. The hardest thing I’ve encountered doing business in Dallas is the North / South divide. It is especially difficult for those just starting out to navigate. I highly recommend that the city start a program for entrepreneurs, it would be helpful on all levels since the majority of the jobs in our country are from small business. I have a great program I am in the process of putting together which will be called “Knowledge is power” “Saber es Poder”. It will be featuring different programs and speakers for the young at heart.
I thank you for the opportunity you have given me to tell you a little bit about me, and I ask that we never forget our Veterans, because of them our country is free.
