Today we’d like to introduce you to Aliyah Neal.
Hi Aliyah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hello Voyage Dallas our names are Aliyah and Taliyah Neal we were raised in Desoto,Tx but born in Richardson, Tx. Our upbringing was unique to most we were raised by our Grandparents Etoria Polk & Johnothan Polk when an un foreseen circumstance occurred in 2007 when our beautiful mother Latoya Neal passed away from natural causes leaving us with them. Latoya Neal had a destiny to become a Model & Actress but whom would have known her own desires would be passed down through her blood. Which leads me to inviting you to our story, In 2018 exactly 1 year before we graduated from High school to start our young adult journey we had gauged a passion for Fashion and Beauty. In the month of August the first month back to school me and my sister started doing hair and makeup to inspire other young African woman to always be your own Picasso, which then grew rapidly to others entrusting us with their makeup and hair do’s for important events. Me and my sister seen the vision where God was taking us and didn’t let it go, we started our own business by doing hair and makeup from out of our home in Desoto, Tx we did so well that by the time it was time for us to go to school women wanted us to keep going so we moved to Houston ,Tx and from our dorm room we created a “Foreign studio” for our “Foreign Dolls” and everyone came. Fast forward to our sophomore year in collage we got into modeling and fashion which lead us to modeling for some of the greatest artist in Houston, Tx with us working alongside individuals like Jmulan, Chase B, Kodak Black, Neyo and etc. Once, the news had been communicated through Houston, Tx we got introduced to Tv scripts and movie roles and more. In the year of 2021-2022 life had changed for the better we had gotten a “Background” role for “A love and Hip Hop family Christmas” and a Tv personality role for “Wild n’ Out”. God had made room for the DoubleVisionTwins a.k.a Aliyah and Taliyah and till this day we continue to be fruitful for our empire that we are building. Our story is iconic in many ways and we are thankful being able to share our story with you all to show that we do the “Natural while God does the Supernatural” we have walked into many rooms and also closed many doors but to the 16 year old Twins that went to Desoto High School (Aliyah and Taliyah) I tell them everyday YOU ALL Broke those generational curses and you all DID IT and still are doing it!. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
NO, we would like to emphasize that the road to success is not smooth. Why?! Because when God places greatness in your life and others see where he is about to take you even people in your family don’t understand and it can be perceived as you “thinking you are better” or “ confusion” because they only know the old you and not the person God has desired you to become. Everyone around you can see the light internally and externally and it attracts a lot of people around you but not all company is good company. People want your lifestyle or your opportunities but are not willing to be fruitful or work for the things they desire. While, individuals like the DoubleVisionTwins have been fruitful towards their life, and others get jealous and want to take from them rather that be love, peace, alignment or superficial things. As humans its in our body to work from he biblical times, and if you have worked then you know it’s not easy unless you find something you like to do. When your work is fruitful meaning it helps others people, it intimidates others because they want to do the same thing but don’t know how, which causes monitoring spirits and people speaking on your greatness increasing the bumps on the road that you can’t see physically.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Currently when I am not being 1 of 2 of the DoubleVisionTwins I have my own educational platform that educates people about the financial markets. I graduated last year 2024 in Marketing from Texas Southern University, and along the way of my many adventures I discovered in 2020 that I like to analyze candles and patterns. I decided what better way to make passive income as a college student needing the extra help, which then turned into the desire to help other whom are having them same problem. My job is to break it down to the simplest term so others can use it to the best of their ability.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
YES, when it comes to finding a mentor find someone who is doing the exact same things that you are doing but are on an expert level and STUDY THEM from their morning routine, daily habits, and etc. Never look up to anyone who is not doing better then you or going in the direction you want to go in because then you are misleading yourself and its like ‘The Blind is Leading the Blind”. And you will find yourself in a paradigm lifestyle and mindset that’s like a boomerang and it will get discouraging scary and take you from your purpose in life!.
